After my last entry about having the attention span of a goldfish, A Head Full of Ghosts second read through is going well. I was awake until 3am last night reading it while the cats hung out on the couch.
However, another thought has entered my mind and that is deflocking.
This is pony related, I swear.
One of the largest sets that are on my list to complete, are the So Soft. They are fuzzy on the outside, which I do like about them , but for some, they get abused and it comes off. Underneath the flocking however, the colours are incredibly bright and vibrant.
My small set amounts to: Surprise, Heart Throb, Ribbon and Lofty. All of these were in the cartoon so I’m delighted to have them in my collection.
Ribbon and Lofty came from my friend, whereas Surprise and Heart Throb, I fell heir to as I did the G3. Not complaining.
Lofty, when I chucked her in the bath to get her hair fixed, has some flocking loss on one side. So she is my candidate for a first time at doing this at all.
No doubt I’ll have photos of the process, as I have a bunch of them that need their hair done and I like a before and after photo.
I have also got a couple more G3 on the way as partner got a C64 game from his childhood, which is usually the trigger for me to find cheap ponies. And hell, maybe I’ll finally get my Mexican Baby Moondancer or cuddly Glory. One can hope.
